Darkest Dungeon: The Crimson Court is now available - and also I hate Windows 10 with a burning passion that knows no equal.
It's here! It's ten bucks and it's available right now on Steam! And GoG! And it's got a whole faction of new enemies and a whole new area to explore and new additions to the hamlet and new afflictions and a new class and four new bosses and the Crimson Court content explores the early events that led the Ancestor down his cursed path!
And all day - operating on like four fucking hours of sleep - I was looking forward to getting home and finally firing it up. And when I get home, Windows tells me not to shut down my laptop because it's updating. And then it tells me it screwed up the update and it'll try to fix it and it's going to restart.
And then it tells me it screwed up the update and it'll try and fix it and it's going to restart.
And then it tells me it screwed up the update and it'll try to fix it and it's going to restart.
Again. And again. And again.
The Internet tells me this will go on forever, and it took me... literally two hours to get to the point where I can actually start Windows without having to FORCE IT INTO SAFE MODE BY INTERRUPTING WINDOWS' BOOT THREE TIMES BY HALTING ITS POWER SUPPLY BECAUSE MICROSOFT CAN'T GIVE YOU A SIMPLE FUCKING WAY TO FIX YOUR COMPUTER WHEN THEY BREAK IT.
Not. Pleased. Not pleased with Microsoft, nor by extension this new laptop.
But Darkest Dungeon: The Crimson Court. But soft. What light through yonder window breaks? It is the east, and a courtly collection of insectoid vampires are the Sun!
If you'll excuse me...
