There's a LOT of new Senran Kagura comin'.

No, "comin'" was not a pun, gitcher' mind outta' the gutter and let's see what we've got, here.  There was a big, hundred-minute presentation from Marvelous Entertainment on the Senran Kagura series on... Monday morning, I wanna' say?

So let's break it down.

Oh - wait - I should mention, I suppose, that the Senran Kagura games are... meant to be titillating.  In that "oh Japan" kind of way.

First of all, a DLC character was announced for Senran Kagura: Peach Beach Splash (meh).

Second, they're making a pinball game for Nintendo Switch called Peach Ball: Senran Kagura.

I'm serious.  Why, you ask?  Well...
"This is something I’ve always wanted to do. I wanted to play something that will let me feel when the ball touches breasts. I want to play pinball on a woman’s body."
-series producer Kenichiro Takaki-
Yes, really.

Next up - another Switch game - Shinobi Refle: Senran Kagura.  Like the pinball title, this is a game unlike anything else in Senran Kagura's history.  It's sort of a visual novel/story-driven game, where the action of the title consists of the creepy changing room stuff from the SK brawlers.  Like you tap and prod a digital girl all over her body to advance the story and access different scenes and outfits.
"... you’ll be getting close and personal with Asuka, who seems to have “lost” herself somehow and needs your “touch” to help her find herself again.

Depending on the location where you touch Asuka, you’ll see different moods as well as appearances. For example, Asuka will take on the form of a “club sempai,” “sister,” “younger sister,” “idol,” or “home tutor” and various other looks."
-Siliconera-
Next up, Shinobi Master Senran Kagura: New Link is an RPG for smartphones, coming to iOS and Android - it has a trailer that shows no gameplay and gives no indication what the game is like, but my money's on boobs.

Second-last, in the good news category - for me, at least, who genuinely enjoys the brawling of the PlayStation Senran Kagura titles - is Senran Kagura Burst Re:Newal for PS4, a remake of the original 3DS game Senran Kagura Burst.

The original Burst was a sidescrolling brawler with polygonal characters, and the first game in the series (it's crazy that Nintendo allows this shit, right?), which introduced the characters and their world.

Re:Newal just takes the story of Burst and remakes it in the engine, with the gameplay of Senran Kagura: Estival Versus, which appeared on PS4 last year - and that ain't bad!  One of the better aspects of the Senran Kagura games I've played have, yes, actually been the story.  That's not a joke.  Here's a trailer - it looks exactly like Estival Versus did last year - but absolutely no better.  It launches on February 18th in Japan.

Finally, Seran Kagura 7even: Girls Happiness was announced for PS4, coming Fall 2018 in Japan.  I guess the game's core series will have a home on PS4 from now on.

Oh and a second season of a Senran Kagura anime is on the way.
